As a flower asleep to her beauty, can only be beautiful,
As each moment that blossoms must die,
this peace of mind, that I’m trying to find is like
lying back to question the sky.
The beauty of each moment is revealed in its passing.
Like Lucifer we fall,
into the world of definitions and distinctions.
bringing light yet dwelling in darkness.
You could imagine my style as pathos to bathos.
Whether I fail or succeed, enjoying both, with a soft spot for failure.
My Grandad, near his ending, always described life as bittersweet.
“Never get old,Tim,” he used to say.
I guess I failed him.
Learning to love your failures is a great lesson 🙂
I intend to fail my Grandad a little more each day.
Ps. I’m not that old.
