Slow Defeat

Who doesn’t want to enjoy the slow defeats within  a long life?

Let death claim its single  victory, while we take a thousand dances under the bright sun of delusion. Each moment another victory against the inevitable. Each tomorrow a new day – apart from once.

But is death such a big loss?

I know quite a few dead people and,one thing for certain is, they don’t annoy me anymore.

I was not responsible for their deaths,as you know.

I have received an email from heaven and I am even familiar with animal heaven.

Is death the final defeat or is it a draw at the close of play ?

Even so, we can learn to treasure our small victories  and those special moments, while our tomorrows fall away.

  1. Those dead people you know, you sent them all over to me didn’t you?
They annoy the hell out of me.
A bonus is that I sell tickets for “Genuine Spooky Experience nights” and I’m writing a history of my haunted house. Well, I’m not; actually I’m using a ghost writer!
